23.08.2024
At the beginning of August, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Kyiv-Mohyla Foundation of Ukraine and KMA Alumni Association, launched a fundraising campaign for the Scholarship Fund in Memory of the Kyiv-Mohyla community members who lost their lives in the Russo-Ukrainian war. This fund will honour the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and will continue their legacy. The scholarships will support talented students and faculty of the Academy, as well as valuable projects that will contribute to the development of the Kyiv-Mohyla community and Ukraine. The Unissued Diplomas project, founded in 2023, has held 110 exhibitions in 24 countries worldwide. Its mission is to remind the world that the war in Ukraine is ongoing and to share the stories of young people who paid the ultimate price in their fight for freedom. "Unissued Diplomas" honours the memory of Ukrainian students who will never graduate because their lives were taken by the russian invasion.
«Unissued Diplomas» raised 87,846 UAH during its charity exhibitions. This money was donated to the Scholarship Fund in Memory of Kyiv-Mohyla Community Members who Lost Their Lives in the Russo-Ukrainian War.
Kyiv-Mohyla Academy students played an active role in creating the «Unissued Diplomas» project, with one of the main co-founders being KMA alumnus Nazarii Nykolaichuk (Economics, 2024). Nazarii is also a recipient of the scholarship generously provided by the Ukrainian Language Society through the Kyiv-Mohyla Foundation. We invite you to join the community of KMA benefactors and support talented youth, the future leaders of Ukraine.
